The bay of Almanarre extends from Hyères to the peninsula of Giens. For almost five kilometers, its wide sandy beach is renowned for being one of the most beautiful sliding spots in the world. This is where you will find the kitesurfing school attached to the Clair de Lune campsite.
The beach of Almanarre attracts of course confirmed sportsmen followers of the discipline but its natural characteristics also make it an excellent ground of initiation to kitesurfing Hyères.
With westerly winds present throughout the year, a shallow water depth and a secure corridor dedicated to this practice, young and old can easily follow their first kitesurfing lessons Giens.
You will have 2 kitesurfing schools near the campsite. The KGG school located on the Presqu’ile de Giens campsite provides individual lessons, introductory or advanced courses for all levels. The MF Kite school located at 800m will also offer kitesurfing lessons for all levels. Friendly atmosphere assured. Also discover the other beaches of the Giens Peninsula.

Camping Clair de Lune is a partner with the KGG school to allow its guests to discover the joys of sliding sports in complete safety.
Affiliated to the French Federation of Free Flight and labeled EFK, the school provides training and personalized support to all its students, from beginners to advanced kiters.
The instructors – all state graduates (North Skite Boarding) – provide high quality outdoor water classes by never welcoming more than 4 people at a time. Equipped with a radio to communicate easily with his trainer, each trainee learns or improves on recent equipment and benefiting from a specific pedagogical follow-up.
In addition to kitesurfing Hyères, the KGG school also offers courses for all age groups in many other board sports, including water skiing, wake boarding, windsurfing Hyères or knee boarding, and for the most motivated, a Hyères diving session.

MF KITE is a kitesurfing school located on the peninsula of Giens, 1km from the campsite. They sail in the bay of Almanarre to take advantage of weather conditions conducive to the practice of sport and regular throughout the year! They use the best kitesurfing equipment of the current year to prioritize technique and learning.
For maximum Comfort and safety, the courses are given by boats and limited to a Number of 4 trainees. The school has been renowned for 20 years for its good Atmosphere, its warm welcome and its team of experienced instructors.
